Lovely old accommodation with favourable setting so close to public transport, and the Victoria monument. Updated and large room with a bright bathroom. Tasty morning meal in the lobby. Decent service provided. Very nice experience there.

The place is nice, and has excellent wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and a wonderful restaurant. I remember how the staff cared for my elderly parents during our first stay. They are always attentive!

Would be happy to recommend this place and would love to stay here again. I came to Kolkata for shopping - everything was modern. The location was good and beautiful for me. I visited Nik's the Momolicious, plus it was located nearby.

Location is conveniently near popular attractions.
I cannot believe the horrendous state of cleanliness here! The carpets were filthy and the bathroom was straight out of a horror movie. I swear I saw mold! For the price they charge, I expected at least basic hygiene, but instead, I got an experience that hit like a one-star nightmare.

Upgrade to a suite was a nice and sweet surprise as this was also a weekend with my partner in the city and comfort was much appreciated. Location was great being in the city centre for walkarounds and shopping.

Please impose the service charge (if possible) and distribute among the lowar income group of stuff for avoiding the unofficial tips they are taking from the visitor whenthey are check out. Beacuse this practice usally are backdated. Also this practice creating embrassing situation & i think it is matter of Peerless Inn image. So think my advice possitively.

Overall ambiance was good. Location is suitable. They have excellent complimentary breakfast menu.
I found the Room Service Rates of the Menu were high for Food items and I found it is not vfm ( Value for Money). So one has to hop around the area for bite. Fortunately New Market is nearby and you have variety of options.

It is an old property in poor condition, the carpet in the bedroom stinks. The front desk staff took 20 min for the check in and finally ended up overcharging on my credit card despite telling them to charge the exact amount. The wifi does not work, the guy who came to set it said my computer was a "corporate laptop" hence it could not use the wifi without making major changes to my networking The food was of poor quality except for the tea. The restaurant staff did not have basic skills like serving cutlery on the table. One had to repeatedly ask for a fork, spoon... etc etc.
